First step in every project is to plan out the scope and a shot list. For this advertisement I wanted a 20-30 second ad that showed off the different selling points of this action camera; waterproof, durable, compact, and high resolution 4k.

I then scripted some ideas for how I wanted the shots to pan out. Once I have a solid idea I can then start to story board and get a better feel for the composition of the shots.

Now that I put pencil to paper I can start blocking out my animation. In this step I can put together a rough edit to get a good understanding of timing. This stage allows for quick tweaks to the initial plan if needed and is a great starting point to show off what is to come.

Lastly, I'll start modeling the product and scenes in more detail. Once all is complete and rendered Ill send it over to my editing software for a final composite and color grade.
